Respect for leather lies at the heart of the products proudly produced at Via La Moda. One of the tenets of the brand is the concept LEBEN EINHAUCHEN, or “breathing life into things”. This is reinforced by the belief that “every hide deserves respect” and evidenced in the responsible sourcing as well as the respectful utilisation of exotic skins.

A graduate of the Vienna Fashion School in Austria, Hanspeter not only studied the art of leather craftsmanship but was also handed down specialist skills from a family dynasty dating back over 300 years.

Today the traditional methods that retain the natural characteristics of high quality hand craftsmanship are complemented by technological evolution in the use of precision calibrated machines and cutting tools.
